LOS ANGELES -- Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson are among the few Los Angeles Kings who dont have a Stanley Cup ring from two years ago. Jeff Carter is grateful the youngsters are carrying him along on their own Cup chase after their line came up with another monster game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Carter had a goal and two assists, Toffoli scored the tiebreaking goal late in the second period, and the Kings beat Chicago 4-3 on Saturday night to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference finals. Drew Doughty had a third-period goal and an assist, and Jonathan Quick made 24 saves as the Kings returned to Staples Center with an impressive two-way effort against the defending Stanley Cup champions. "Im having so much fun with these guys," said Toffoli, who has scored a goal in every game of the conference finals. "Getting to play with a guy like Carter is a great opportunity, and (Pearson) and me are trying to live up to him." Game 4 is Monday night at Staples Center. Three days after Carter had four points in the third period of Game 2, Los Angeles got another dominant effort from the line centred by the veteran goal-scorer. In a 6:11 span of the second period of Game 3, Carter scored the tying goal off Pearsons pass before setting up the go-ahead score by Toffoli, who has a goal in every game of the conference finals. "They have a lot of chemistry from playing together" in the minors, Carter said. "They use their speed and their skill to create opportunities, and they kind of drag me along with them, so its fun." Toffoli and Pearson still hadnt cracked Los Angeles lineup in 2012 when the eighth-seeded Kings won the title. Toffoli became a regular for last seasons run to the conference finals, while Pearson made his NHL debut in a playoff game last spring. Theyve both become key components of the Kings four-line offensive attack. Slava Voynov also scored an early power-play goal as the Kings moved halfway to their second Stanley Cup final in three years. Captain Jonathan Toews scored twice in the first period for the Blackhawks, but they didnt score again until Patrick Sharps goal with 5 seconds left. Corey Crawford stopped 28 shots for the Blackhawks, who have lost the first road game in 10 consecutive playoff series since 2010. "Once they got the lead, they seemed to get the momentum, and we couldnt quite find our way back into the game," Toews said. "Its up to us to play better with those leads." Three days after the Kings evened the series by scoring six consecutive goals in the final 22 minutes of Game 2, Los Angeles didnt relax and rely on its NHL-best defence. Neither team played conservatively despite the stakes, instead trading tantalizing scoring chances for the first two periods. The Kings kept pushing for goals even while leading in the third, generating 18 shots and keeping the talented Blackhawks stuck in their own end for long stretches. "We all want to win in here, and Toews is obviously our captain and leader," Chicago defenceman Duncan Keith said. "He definitely led the way tonight, but we need everybody if we are going to beat this team and try to win one here. Toews came out and led the way. Its up to the rest of us to follow that." The Blackhawks beat Los Angeles in five games in the conference finals last season, but the rematch hasnt been nearly as smooth for Chicago. Patrick Kane and Bryan Bickell havent scored a goal in the conference finals, while Sharps last-gasp goal was his first of the series. The Blackhawks had their usual hundreds of red-clad fans in an otherwise black-and-white Staples Center crowd, and Toews put Chicago ahead just 5:26 into Game 3 with a spectacular short-handed goal, stealing the puck from Justin Williams and beating Quick between the legs. After Voynov tied it, Toews connected again later in the period on a rebound. The Kings evened it in the second period when Pearson corralled a puck that hit a referee behind the net and fed it to Carter in front for his eighth goal. Carter then chipped the puck ahead to Toffoli shortly after a Chicago power play ended. Toffoli broke in on Crawford, who lifted his left pad for only an instant -- right when Toffoli pushed the puck under him. The Kings kept up the pressure in the third period, and Doughty scored just his second goal of the post-season shortly after a power play expired in the third period. NOTES: F Andrew Shaw returned to Chicagos lineup after a seven-game injury absence. He took the lineup spot of Peter Regin, who had played the last four games. ... Toews had his first multigoal performance in 63 playoff games since May 7, 2010, when he had a hat trick against Vancouver. ... Guitarist Slash played the national anthem. Wayne Gretzky, Dick Butkus, David Beckham, Eric Stonestreet, Josh Duhamel, Taylor Kitsch and former Kings forward Dustin Penner attended the game. Thomas Partey Jersey . The Jets have now won three straight at home and four of the last five at the MTS Centre. After a scoreless first period, Brad Marchand scored his first goal in eight games eight seconds into the second. Fernando Torres Jersey . - Titans quarterback Jake Locker will miss the rest of the season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot, leaving Tennessee trying to rally with Ryan Fitzpatrick. http://www.socceratleticomadridonline.us/Jesus-Gamez-Atletico-Madrid-Jersey/. made a diving catch in left field for the final out in a 1-0 victory over the Miami Marlins in a regular-season finale Sunday. Bach is in Rome for the European Olympic Committees general assembly and meetings with Pope Francis. He also visited with Italian Premier Enrico Letta. "The prime minister appeared to be interested in a bid from Italy for 24, because he has realized that the games can serve as a catalyst for development for a city and a country," Bach told The Associated Press on Saturday. Gabi Jersey . 5 Trade Deadline is drawing closer and teams will be deciding on whether to buy or sell.On the back of tipping Alex Noren to win the Scottish Open last week, Ben Coley has five selections for The 145th Open at Royal Troon... Get a Sky Sports Pass Dont miss The Open. Watch live on NOW TV for £10.99. No contract. Royal Troon returns as host for The Open Championship, 12 years on from the shock success of unheralded American Todd Hamilton.Hamilton was close to the worlds top 50 at the time but arrived out of sorts and without any links form, yet somehow managed to overcome Ernie Els in a four-hole play-off for the Claret Jug. One thing which shouldnt have surprised anyone was the nationality of the winner, as there have now been six American wins in a row at Troon dating back over half a century. With that in mind, it might pay to side with another this week.Top of the list is Jordan Spieth, who so nearly won last years Open only to just miss out on a play-off won by friend and compatriot Zach Johnson. James Haddock takes you through all the key groupings for the first round of The Open Spieth was looking for his third straight major win at the time so arrives with a little less pressure on his shoulders one year on, especially as its Dustin Johnson and Jason Day whove taken over at the top of world golf.On what is a classical in-and-out links, one which doesnt lend much of an advantage to power, Spieths ability to manufacture a score even when hes not at his best sets him apart as the strongest candidate from the top of the market. Here are all the ways to watch The Open with Sky Sports Last time out he finished third on a long course to set himseelf up perfectly for this altogether more subtle challenge and its significant that this years schedule enabled him to land in Scotland last Saturday and get plenty of homework done.ddddddddddddPick of the European challenge comes from Martin Kaymer, who has been seventh and 12th in previous Opens and arrives in great form. Martin Kaymer has posted three top-10s in his past five starts With two majors already in the locker, there is no doubt the German has what it takes to win a Claret Jug and his links form includes wins in the KLM Open and the Dunhill Links. He played well in Scotland last week, continuing the fine form hes shown on European soil throughout the spring, and looks primed to challenge with his long game under control and the putter working nicely. Those hoping for a winner even closer to home should consider Russell Knox and Sunday qualifier Richie Ramsay, but Englands Chris Wood has even better credentials and looks good each-way value. Chris Wood claimed a two-shot win in Austria last summer Woods career has really taken off this year, with his second European Tour title coming via the flagship event at Wentworth, and hes continued to play good golf, including at the US Open where he finished inside the top 25.Having twice hit the frame in The Open when still wet behind the ears, he has every reason to be confident heading to the type of golf course on which he thrives thanks to a piercing ball-flight and great imagination. Wood played a lot of golf with Danny Willett as a youngster and has clearly taken inspiration from the exploits of his compatriot, so it would be no surprise were he to quickly follow him into the major winners circle. With previous form in the biggest and best events always a good guide - two of last years play-off trio had won majors while the other had contended for them - Im finishing off with a pair of tough-as-teak grinders whove got the job done before.First is Graeme McDowell, who rediscovered something like his best form last time out and has won in windy conditions on the PGA Tour this season. Graeme McDowell finished inside the top-10 in Inverness last week McDowell has two top-10 finishes in his last four Open starts and Troon looks an ideal fit for his game. The same goes for Padraig Harrington, who was tied for fifth behind Justin Leonard here in 1997. Padraig Harrington is a three-time major champion Harrington has been inside the top 30 in each of his last three starts including when tuning up for this at Castle Stuart, and at three-figure prices always looks value on an old-fashioned links like this one.Watch the Open throughout the week live on Sky Sports - your new home of the Open - or for 10.99 with NOW TV Also See: Ways to watch the Open First round tee times The Open latest news Golf live on Sky Sports Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
